Agadam, produced by Mohammad Issack on behalf of his Last Bench Boys Productions, has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. The film, which has Tamizh, Seenu Iyer, Sri Priyanka and many others in the lead, has been shot in a ‘single shot’ stretching over two hours, which is a new world record. K. Bhagyaraj and ‘Abirami’ Ramanathan released the trailer of Agadam on May 1,2013.

With musical score by Basker, Agadam is recognized by the Guinness Records organizers as a film which has been shot in a ‘single shot’ stretching for 123 minutes and 30 seconds. The said record (shoot of the film) happened on 7th December last year. Surprisingly enough, the film wasn’t edited afterwards as the sequences to be shot had been pre-planned well. A notary public, a school teacher and Suresh, director of Eththan, were the witnesses who recorded the record-breaking event which unfolded late last year.

All the documented records along with the proof were submitted to the Guinness Records organizers in London who have now recognized Agadam as the ‘world record creating film’ beating a Russian film (which had earlier held the record) by more than thirty minutes. The Guinness World Record feat achieved by Agadam at a time when the Indian cinema is celebrating its 100th anniversary has gladdened the hearts of movie goers and critics as well. Sans any songs in it, Agadam has been awarded an ‘U/A’ certificate by the Censors and would soon be hitting the screens all over the State.
